ProgramU ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the information you authorize those providers to share.

User Content: We store content you create within the app, including journal entries, affirmations, check-in responses, identity statements, and voice recordings used for voice cloning. This content is stored securely in Firebase and is associated with your account.

Generated Audio: AI-generated audio sessions are stored in Firebase Storage and are accessible only to your account.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage analytics including session types generated, app feature usage, and engagement metrics to improve the product.

Voice Data: If you use the Voice Clone feature, your voice recording is sent to ElevenLabs for processing. The recording is used solely to create your personal voice clone and is handled according to ElevenLabs' privacy policy.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) through their respective in-app purchase systems. We do not directly collect or store credit card numbers or payment details.

To generate personalized AI audio sessions based on your focus intentions
To track your progress, streaks, and gamification data
To process in-app purchases and manage your subscription
To send push notifications about CollectiveU sessions (with your permission)
To improve our AI generation quality and app experience

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, storage, cloud functions, and analytics
OpenAI: AI script generation for personalized sessions
ElevenLabs: Text-to-speech voice generation and voice cloning
RevenueCat: In-app purchase and subscription management
Expo: Push notifications and app updates

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. User data in Firebase is protected by security rules that ensure users can only access their own data. Voice recordings for cloning are encrypted in transit.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and generated sessions are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained for product improvement purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data stored in ProgramU
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Export your data in a portable format
Opt out of push notifications at any time

7. Children's Privacy

ProgramU is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
